You know how some kids want to be an actress or a professional athlete when they grow up?  Not me.  I wanted to be a male nurse.  Seriously, it’s true.  Ask my mom.  So when I saw this male nurse action figure on ArchieMcPhee.com, I knew I had to have it.

My Childhood Dream

When I was 4, I was in a car accident with my mom.  It was Super Bowl Sunday.  Not that that is something integral to the story, but it was Super Bowl Sunday so I thought I’d throw that little factoid in there.  It was a fender bender, pretty minor, but I had two bloody noses and a fat lip.  I was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure.  (Actually, it was one nose with blood coming out of both nostrils, but stay with me here.)
